I Remember When

See this feelin' that I'm feelin' Got me aimin' past the ceiling Steady grindin' focused on the next move Dude from a small town but big dreams Tryna do some big things Vision got me seeing bigger views I remember it was yesterday being new to the scene and I was only 19 years old All I needed was a pen and a paper Soundclick for the beats And get away in my headphones Feels like yesterday I was still a kid With 20 dollar in my wallet Now I'm rockin' overseas Just copped my parents a new whip This one goes out to my people in the struggle Out there with something to prove Never give up on your dream Cuz the hard times always pass through All you need is your faith in God In anything or whatever you do You can make it anywhere Cuz if I could do it you could do it too I do it for the music and culture I do it for my parents gettin' older I do it for my friends and my family And the ones that have stayed and believed in me I do it for my people that are here today And my angels looking down that have passed away I do it cuz Lord has blessed me again I just gotta thank you cuz I remember when yesterday I was still a kid With 20 dollar in my wallet Now I'm rockin' overseas Just copped my parents a new whip This one goes out to my people in the struggle Out there with something to prove Never give up on your dream Cuz the hard times always pass through All you need is your faith in God In anything or whatever you do You can make it anywhere Cuz if I could do it you could do it too This one goes out to my people in the struggle Out there with something to prove Never give up on your dream Cuz the hard times always pass through All you need is your faith in God In anything or whatever you do You can make it anywhere Cuz if I could do it you could do it too Feels like yesterday I was still a kid With 20 dollar in my wallet Now I'm rockin' overseas Just copped my parents a new whip
