Sow Mercy

I can see her now, her weathered skinOld straw hat and crooked grinAnd she said child, let's make this garden grow.Let's till the soil, and pull some weedsAnd here's your bag of precious seeds'Cause grandma's got a secret you should knowYou always reap exactly what you sow(Chorus)Sow mercySow graceSow kindnessSow faithWords are like water, sprinkled with loveYou will harvest all your heart's been dreaming ofSow mercyWe knelt right there and she took my handThat patch of dirt was Holy landAnd she said child I learned this long agoOh, you can bless or curseYou can live or dieYou choose the crop you want in lifeThat's the greatest secret Grandma knowsYou always reap exactly what you sowRepeat Chorus'Cause one day God forbid, you act a foolAnd fall down hard and fast, 'cause life is cruelIf you ever reached to help a friendA hand you held might lift you up againWhat goes around comes back around you knowYou always reap exactly what you sowRepeat Chorus
