Past

Said I don’t worry but I do follows me then it consumes I beat myself then let it go it’s a vicious cycle I know I’m in vertigo and in the back of my mind it reminds me at night of all my lows, from years ago it creeps around time to time but I’m done getting by with all this weight it has to go cause life is slowing down with it in the way I’ll leave it in the past past I’m so sick and tired of thinking about what could’ve been I’ll leave it in the past past where’s the fun in dwelling I’d rather make some memories No, I don’t wanna think too much, waste my time worrying about yesterday’s timeline I’ll leave it in the past Past I’ll feel so much better when I focus in front of me taking one step at a time I’m not adding fuel to the fire yeah, beauty lies within each day I’m not getting overwhelmed today if I make mistakes yeah, I build it all up in my head, gets too much then I break down but it stops now I’ve lost too many good days in a stress, feeling dazed I’ve come around I’m present now cause my new point of view is here to stay I’ll leave it in the past past I’m so sick and tired of thinking about what could’ve been I’ll leave it in the past past where’s the fun in dwelling I’d rather make some new memories No, I don’t wanna think too much, waste my time worrying about yesterday’s timeline I’ll leave it in the past past I’ll feel so much better when I focus in front of me
