Favorite Band

I bought us the tickets to a show this weekend And I was dancing, you're in the corner standing I wish you'd dance with me But you don't seem to be into it And right then, it hit me I'm sorry, I just don't get it Chorus I wish I liked you as much as I like my favorite band It's not your fault, it's mine, I'm just a kid like Simple Plan And in the morning you could drive me home, put on your playlist I just don't like you as much as I like my favorite band Verse 2 We're hangin' out again, I'm wondering what I came here for When I could be at home with my headphones and Paramore And I hate to say it, but to me, your taste isn't that good And Hayley just gets mе The way you never did Chorus I wish I likеd you as much as I like my favorite band It's not your fault, it's mine, I'm just a kid like Simple Plan And in the morning you could drive me home, put on your playlist I just don't like you as much as I like my favorite band Bridge Kissing in the rain and I feel nothing But oh, what a shame to let you go Honestly, I should've seen it coming When you said you didn't like All Time Low Bound to fail Pierce The Veil Close my eyes, tryna feel something Put on my favorite song And I can tell that you're just bluffing, trying to sing along Chorus I wish I liked you as much as I like my favorite band It's not your fault, it's mine, I'm just a kid like Simple Plan And in the morning you could drive me home, put on your playlist I just don't like you as much as I like my favorite band Outro Tu-du, tu-du, yeah, yeah, yeah, ta-da Tu-du, tu-du, yeah, yeah, yeah, ta-da I just don't like you as much as I like Great Grandpa or girlpool or Joy Again Or anyone else Or anyone else I just don't really like your music taste and it's putting me off, it's making me feel weird, that's what this song is about
