Balaclava

Sweet as yesterday love It smelled like burnt gardenias We both had the day off We drove out to Arcadia 7th in the nation for homes in Monday Magazine Some locals had the day off We broke in through their backdoor screen Heart racing you to the bedroom Lay me down I’ll be the big spoon Broke all the mirrors in the house Glittery splinters on the couch Oh what a feeling when all I believe in is just you and me and no one else Dancing in our balaclavas Let’s pretend we’re star crossed lovers Dancing in our balaclavas Let’s pretend we’re star crossed lovers Dumb as daisy petals We left our fingerprints inside We set the house on fire and prayed that God’ll bless our crimes 7 in the evening How sad to leave it all behind It was a good day love I’ll always have it on my mind Broke all the mirrors in the house Glittery splinters on the couch Oh what a feeling when all I believe in is just you and me and no one else Dancing in our balaclavas Let’s pretend we’re star crossed lovers Dancing in our balaclavas Let’s pretend we’re star crossed lovers Close your eyes and say it’s my birthday cause we’ve got cake and we’re eating it too Close your eyes and say it’s my birthday cause we’ve got cake and we’re eating it too Dancing in our balaclavas Let’s pretend we’re star crossed lovers Let’s pretend we’re star crossed lovers
