I`m the One

I met a girl from Palmdale She had bags under her eyes A dessert thing about her She was void of any lies She moved out to L.A She was running from the pain She thought I'd be the one To take it away [Chorus] But I'm the one Who needs someone Oh, I'm the one Who's on the run [Verse 2] I came out from the East Coast I was chasing down a dream It was never about the money It was all about the scene And heaven knows I'm trying But my best is not enough I'm getting in my car To pick you up [Chorus] 'Cause I'm the one Who needs someone Oh, I'm the one Who's on the run [Bridge] Hold on to each other Hold on to me The world is a dark, dark place And you're all I see [Verse 3] It felt so California When I found out you were gone You texted me you missed me And you were staying with your mom I always thought I'd be The one to lead you on I always thought I'd be The one to leave [Chorus] But I'm the one Who needs someone Oh, I'm the one Who's on the run Oh, I'm the one Who needs someone [Outro] I'm the one Who's on the run And I'm the one Who needs someone
