Clown In Broad Daylight (Album Version)

Standing on the side of the road near the overpass With a sign around his neck that says "Car wash, free balloons", he's a clown in broad daylight He's waving at the people in cars who do a double-take And goad him on with their horns outside the car wash Ike a cartoon, he's a clown in broad daylight Raising eyebrows and emotions He don't phase some people at all For everyday the circus is open Everything is alright It's just a clown in broad daylight Everything is alright For against the backdrop of ordinary life it's the easy laugh That gets you through your working day and the hogwash Sad but true, he's a clown in broad daylight Yeah he's waving at you He's a clown, a clown in broad daylight
