Loneliness

Does loneliness start in the womb and lay sleeping Then follow your heart to the tomb always keeping Her eyes on your highs and your lows I wonder how loneliness goes Does loneliness loom in the here ever after Or hang 'round the room like the echo of laughter Does loneliness rain when it snows I wonder how loneliness goes God save all the lonely ones Who wait for love till nothing comes God save all the lonely ones Who wait for love forever Does loneliness eat through your heart like a cancer The loneliest doctors have searched for the answer And come up with nobody knows Exactly how loneliness goes God save all the lonely ones Who wait for love forever
