Damn Cold

I used to be better at being better Now I don’t even care its whatever whatever I used to think love meant together forever But time and space is a fucked up measure Too many fake friends that I need to sever Want my attention but don’t make an effort At least I don’t crack when I’m under pressure A little more numb so I don’t remember What it feels like to be alive What it feels like to look into your eyes I’m so far away from everything I’ve known You’re my home away from home But this time I’m on my own I’ve seen new cities and new faces Heard some voices in my head I’ve lost my patience and ran into complications with my friends I haven’t seen the light inside my soul It’s been so dark and so damn cold I guess you could have guessed that I’m a little bit depressed Thoughts up in my mind that I haven’t expressed A few too many things that I’m scared to address More or less a warfare inside of my chest I hate to admit but I’m a little bit obsessed With you your smile the way we digress Made a little more money got a little more stressed A little more high just so I could forget What It feels like to be alive What it feels like to look into your eyes I’m so far away from everything I’ve known You’re my home away from home But this time I’m on my own I’ve seen new cities and new faces Heard some voices in my head I’ve lost my patience and ran into complications with my friends I haven’t seen the light inside my soul It’s been so dark and so damn cold
