Joy To The World

While the winter prolongs its night The brightest star shines clearer than ever And while the trembling cold wind bites We hold onto memories by the fire May it seem like He’s in silence May it seem like He’s unrighteous And death blinds our sight into darkness But Jesus Christ The brightest star the burning fire You lighten up our faith again So we cannot but sing of joy Joy to the world The Lord has come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing And heaven and nature sing And heaven and heaven and nature sing May it seem like He’s in silence May it seem like He’s unrighteous And death blinds our sight into darkness But Jesus Christ The brightest star the burning fire You lighten up our faith again So we cannot but sing of joy Joy to the world The Lord has come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing And heaven and nature sing And heaven and heaven and nature sing He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness And wonders of His love And wonders of His love And wonders wonders of His love
