Michael's Song

She sits on the bed, she combs her hair And waits for the telephone to ring They just liked a day in a hotel room Her mother's waiting on the line Where have you been, she said We thought you might dead How could you be so unkind? What is on your mind? Heard they caught the man that took that girl I saw it on the news Oh mother, got to go, you're worrying And Michael's coming back soon Where have you been, she said We thought you might dead How could you be so unkind? What is on your mind? Where have you been, she said We thought you might dead How could you be so unkind? What is on your mind? She sits on the bed, she combs her hair But Michael never came back
