Wild Desire

The day I started writing poetry was the same day that I met you All the thoughts running through my head were now like a birds eye view The way you lifted that magazine made me feel like going to church Walked two doors down to the barber shop and said brother man give me the works Driven by a wild desire Life is so surreal I used to want an appetizer Now I'll spin the wheel Broken glass raining over my head And the getaway car is close If I'm gonna do the things I said I'll need a bag of paper president ghosts One two its all for you Cash drawer out the door I'll pay you back when I'm famous Ain't nothing come for free That ain't no hyperbole I'll put your name on the guest list darling Chorus A changing wave I rode for you But you never say merci beaucoup So I'll just keep on building this up and Hoping one day it will all be enough You will notice me Will you notice me Oooo Ooooo One two I think I love you Dance floor out the door What more is there to prove What more is there to prove
