Faithful God

Your Word oh LORD the Bread of Life Created all we know Yet we exchanged Your glorious truth For images of gold And though we played rebellion's tune You wove the scarlet thread of love Your perfect symphony What a faithful God all through history You bought us with Your precious blood You reign in victory in victory O Christ Your cross it did secure Salvation for Your bride And by Your Spirit tried and true We have abundant life And with Your faithfulness oh God There is no guilt or shame Your kingdom come it will not cease Forever You will reign What a faithful God all through history You bought us with Your precious blood You reign in victory in victory For You shall come with trumpet sound To take Your remnant home Alas complete in Christ our King In joy forevermore What a faithful God all through history You bought us with Your precious blood You reign in victory
