Cricket Songs

Summer is here again Avoid your feisty mates Enjoy the silence and the cricket songs The bedroom is so hot Your sweat is dripping off You fall asleep to the cricket songs The sky is blue and high The sun is beating down Merciless And the radio plays the tunes that we know We dance to the summer songs Once your mama came upstairs she yelled she screamed her eyes were red No more summer songs The sky is blue and high The sun is beating down Merciless Colors are all mixed up We are stars that shine and burn Where is the rain You whistle your favorite song I'm always a little in awe I miss the rain I miss the rain Emotions are all mixed up We are stars that shine and burn Where is the rain You whistle your favorite song I'm always a little in awe I miss the rain I miss the rain Where is the rain Where is the rain
