Like They Used To (Feat. D.Randle Of The Legendary K.O. a.k.a K-Otix)

Loptimist Legendary KO Second time around You know we've been in the game for a minute And there's a lot of young cats out there That just can't quite cut it That just don't have what we used to have It's like this yo Don't make em like they used to You can't make em like they used to Nah they don't do it like we used to Cause they don't make em like they used to You can't make em like they used to Don't make em like they used to Yeah like they used to Say it again They don't make em like they used to Back in 92 when I was just another new dude Wet behind the ears just here to get my crew through Sweat blood and tears there's nothing we wouldn't do to Make a mark swim in the middle of shark week On any given night spent hitting the concrete Big up the name till the game was complete A lot of big spenders in the end who talk cheap But little fish in the pond got seasick And ate the bigger fish now it's no more secret The world couldn't wait for the debut street hit Didn't take the bait had to self release it The dream wouldn't end it would only increase then Had a new cause we could find belief in Nonstop 20 hour days were frequent With no time to sleep and gave up the weekend Fast forward three world tours and counting We put it on the line trying to scale that mountain It's not something that you really see any longer Whatever didn't kill us only made us stronger Why Cause they don't make em like they used to They can't make em like they used to They don't do it like we used to They can't make em like they used to So let me be a little candid Nowadays you're just getting handed a standard Pre-approved and branded watered down diluted Prototypical artist charted out of a blueprint It's like nothing's new under the sun So when you get around to do it's done so maybe You shouldn't settle in and do as you're told I'm an original they broke the mold when they made me I'm not old or new school I'm mid school None of these new dudes have seen what I've been through Or been the places I've been to Or seen the potential they're missing on the vital essentials Learn from the path I made From the tracks I've laid Footprints like ants on parade Going through the motions this ain't no charade Ain't no charade ain't no charade Cause why They don't do it like we used to Nah they don't make em like they used to They can't get it like we used to Cause they don't make em like they used to They don't make em like they used to Can't make em like they used to They don't do it like we used to Can't make em like they used to
