When We Were Us (Feat. Mark Mejia)

It was good while it lasted but I'm glad that it's over Shawty I seen your pic on my phone Even though we both let it all go I was thinking I should let you know That I ain't feeling alone anymore Now I ain't see you in a minute, but I see you been up in it Happy you doing fine babe, have I been on your mind lately And it's good to see you winning, and I knew from the beginning You and I would be cool, yeah, even if we didn't make it Way back when we were us, we thought it was serious And I wish we could chill, just keep it real Kick back and laugh about it all We were just young in love thinking what we had was good enough Baby don't get me wrong ain't tryna get you back Sometimes I reminisce about when we were us Just to be straight, your boy's sober When I say I'm kinda sad that it's over Baby we were on top of the world But you know we're better than that I ain't tryna get you back Cus we just don't belong together we don't belong together Now I ain't see you in a minute, but I see you been up in it Happy you doing fine babe, have I been on your mind lately And it's good to see you winning, and I knew from the beginning You and I would be cool, yeah, even if we didn't make it Way back when we were us we thought it was serious And I wish we could chill, just keep it real Kick back and laugh about it all We were just young in love thinking what we had was good enough Baby don't get me wrong ain't tryna get you back Sometimes I reminisce about when we were us I'm just reminiscing I ain't really missing your love It's just human nature, thinking bout when we were us We don't belong together Way back when we were us, we thought it was serious And I wish we could chill, just keep it real Kick back and laugh about it all We were just young in love, thinking what we had was good enough Baby don't get me wrong ain't tryna get you back Sometimes I reminisce about when we were us Way back when we were us, we thought it was serious And I wish we could chill, just keep it real Kick back and laugh about it all We were just young in love, thinking what we had was good enough Baby don't get me wrong ain't tryna get you back Sometimes I reminisce about when we were us
