Better Days

I'm gonna write you a letter, I think the sooner the better'Cause the time is right to find a better dayI'm an angry young man, man, I wish I was youngMy guitar is out of tune even that's highly strungAnd the words we didn't say last nightShook the world to the core, we had nothing to say last nightWe'd said it all before and I say, lonely times and lonely tearsWill fade away when you disappearThe time is right for me to strayI'm gonna find a better dayKickin' off 'cause it suits meI'm gonna leave the countryAnd the time is right to find a better dayMakin' sense of my past nowI'll only love when I want to'Cause the time is right to find a better dayMaybe I didn't love you, maybe you loved her lessWould you have preferred it, if I'd have worn the dress'Cos I say, lonely times and lonely tearsWill fade away when you disappearThe time is right for me to strayI'm gonna find a better dayLonely times and lonely tearsWill fade away when you disappearThe time is right for me to strayI'm gonna find a better dayNo where to run to, baby, no where to hideI got no where to run to, baby, and nowhere to hide
