My Pessimistic Heart

When your friends give up on you When everyone has heard your story twice When your family's grown tired of you And your doctor tells you now you must shape up Then I'll be there for you again My pessimistic heart goes out to you Come to me, embraced by my world My pessimistic heart, it calls you Now go, let it lead Please follow my pessimistic heart When you're broken, when you're down When every sentence is ending with a frown When you've taken all the pills You could find and still you're feeling ill I'll be there for you again My pessimistic heart goes out to you Come to me, embraced by my world My pessimistic heart, it calls you Now go, let it lead Please follow my pessimistic heart And when your hope grows thin It's time to let the fun begin And when your hope grows thin It's time to let the fun begin
