Kick Ass

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth Then he created the waters and the land And then he created man But man degenerated and descended Into the black hole of making bad music So a darkness fell all around Only he could know of the storm that was coming The hurricane that was brewing Yes, there was something wrong, something missing There was no rock music So he sent an angel And out of the mist, that angel came He wore boots, blue jeans And a baseball cap He had a big old smile like a welcome mat How cool is that Then all the world went silent and they looked up Because they all wanted to hear what he had to say And after a moment's silence, he said Let there be guitar Drums Bass Piano Let there be a kickass, kickass rocking band Let's go Oh Oh, yeah Alright Verse 1 Well, if you're looking for some, turn the music on And let's light a real big fire If you wanna blast, let's kick some ass We'll raise the roof a little bit higher If you need a rush, grab your favourite crush Gotta go against the grain If you're here for the show and you're ready to go Let's ride this crazy train Chorus If you like some kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band If you can't play a lick, just play anything Raise hell and clap your hands Spread the word, bring your friends The whole wide world is joining in If you love some kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band Post-Chorus Oh yeah Verse 2 If you want the good back in the good times Get the grease back in your gears Come on, bang your drum and make your guitar strum Put the buzz back in your beer If you want a real sure thing, let the singer sing Turn the tunes on up to ten If you had a long, hard day, you need to get away It's time to rock and roll again Chorus If you want some kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band If you can't play a lick, just play anything Raise hell and clap your hands Spread the word, bring your friends The whole wide world is joining in If you love kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band Post-Chorus Ah, that's right Kickass Oh, yeah Oh, let's go Bridge Oh, if you like kickass rocking music Make some noise and clap your hands If you want some kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band, yeah Chorus Kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band If you can't play a lick, just play anything Raise hell and clap your hands Spread the word, bring your friends The whole wide world is joining in If you love some kickass rocking music We're a kickass rocking band Outro Oh, yeah Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Everybody say Come on, spread the word Bring all your friends Come on, join hands And join a kickass rocking band
