Christmas Eve (Feat. Will Blake)

I skipped church a couple times To get drunk with all my guys At the bar To be fair I said a prayed for the fries And the wings And browns on the screen Cause this year is just like the last three it seems Look father knows my hearts So Who are you to judge Plus I’ll be in next week Well if my engineers not free Okay that’s a lie But we can wipe that away with the blood of christ At least that’s what that book says right? there’s one day I aint miss in life and that on my life I’m always there at the Christmas Eve sermon Like one single service Will save my Soul Are the trees all year And the tensile everywhere And the lights and the cheer Cause I wouldn’t know I only pray to God when I need shit Pastor says God is everywhere everyone but Saint Nick James 2:18 Wait so When did we get mistletoes Imma let you preach preach but Things have changed since bishop Joe But don’t mind me Please proceed Ave marie Drummer boys from choir girls We wish you merry Kids in some robes With the gold and the Frankincense Know I’m saved But some days it feels like i be faking it I’m always there at the Christmas Eve sermon Like one single service Will save my Soul Are the trees all year And the tensile everywhere And the lights and the cheer Cause I wouldn’t know My favorite verse is when Mary gives birth and then A few things in-between And then Jesus dies for me I know I don’t deserve it Don’t even stand for worship Shouldn’t even be in here But He really thinks I’m worth it he gave his only son Just for when I mess up And all I gotta do is be honest in confession And that’s really it And in his name He clears the air No excuse but that’s the story that I need Throughout the year I’m always there at the Christmas Eve sermon Like one single service Will save my Soul Are the trees all year And the tensile everywhere And the lights and the cheer Cause I wouldn’t know
