karma

Built a blueprint, said that we'd follow it Haven't used it if I'm bein' honest And that don't mean that I don't care I'm not usin' you, I swear, but you said If I go on and mess it up again You'd leave and the two of us would end Say it's in the universe's plans But don't blame it on karma When we could just try harder Can't pin it on fate much longer It's only a word in our heads No, don't blame it on karma 'Cause all it brings is drama We'll work it out if we wanna Don't matter what the universe says No, don't blame it on Things that I did or didn't do Hold up your hands, you do it too We could take it all back, but what's the use? Put it all in the past and you said If I go on and mess it up again You'd leave and the two of us would end Say it's in the universe's plans But don't blame it on karma When we could just try harder Can't pin it on fate much longer It's only a word in our heads No, don't blame it on karma 'Cause all it brings is drama We'll work it out if we wanna Don't matter what the universe says No, don't blame it on You're like my heartbeat, sometimes I don't listen My world's dead if you went missin' It's not good or bad, it's just where we're at So don't blame it on Don't blame it on karma When we could just try harder Can't pin it on fate much longer It's only a word in our heads No, don't blame it on karma 'Cause all it brings is drama We'll work it out if we wanna Don't matter what the universe says No, don't blame it on t blame it on
