Empress

I met this guy named Michael Had a motorcycle Thought that he was cool, he always quoted from the Bible But he had a baby mama Who was a prima donna Had to let him go 'cause I ain't really with the drama I was feeling Keith With the gold teeth But he was a thug and always running from police He was always trying to get me in the sheets Wasn't good enough for me Chorus I don't want to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress I need the best Not the runner up 'Cause that's what I deserve I don't want to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress Got to big up my chest Even if it hurts When a woman knows her worth Verse 2 So I started seeing Jamie He acted like a baby Always playing video games and being lazy Smoked too much marijuana Stuck in his pajamas Always dropping wisdom like he was the Dalai Lama Was talking to Tim He couldn't let me in Said he got burned and now he doesn't trust women I can't pay for somebody else's sin Gotta find another man Chorus I don't want to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress I need the best Not the runner up 'Cause that's what I deserve I don't want to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress Got to big up my chest Even if it hurts When a woman knows her worth Bridge When a woman knows her worth She waits for someone she deserves She's first Even if it hurts Chorus Won't to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress I need the best Not the runner up 'Cause that's what I deserve I don't want to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress Got to big up my chest Even if it hurts When a woman knows her worth I don't want to settle for less 'Cause I'm an empress I need the best Not the runner up 'Cause that's what I deserve I don't want to settle for less When I'm an empress Got to big up my chest Even if it hurts When a woman knows her worth
