Daydreaming

He's not your prince, he's no fairy tale No magic kiss, nothing behind the veil There was a time when he would be the one daydreamin' Of that tower in the air And he rode up on his high horse and tried to save her But she didn't seem to care She was happy there [Chorus] Don't hold me down [Verse 2] To his surprise, she closed the door She said goodbye, bye, and nothing more And then the floor it disappeared from underneath his feet He was fallin' from the skies And as the wind rushed past his face He felt the coolness as his body turned to ice [Chorus] Don't hold me down Don't hold me down [Bridge] Heart hard like a stone Falling cold, alone Still waiting for the ground Still waiting for the ground [Instrumental] [Outro] There was a time when I would be the one daydreamin' Of that tower in the air Don't hold me down
