See You Soon

Fall knocked on our door We'd been counting days for months And now you're close to gone I hope you packed some sun She was heading east Beyond the safe and sound surroundings we call home Into the unknown Treat me like you'll see me soon Treat me like you'll see me soon 'Cause if you don't I swear I'll even miss you now when you are here 'Cause if you don't I swear I'll even miss you now when you are here Don't waste your precious tears Save them for a time you miss me more than words can tell And not on this farewell Dont you worry now 'Cause when you're back it'll be as if you never left You know I won't forget Treat me like you'll see me soon Treat me like you'll see me soon 'Cause if you don't I swear I'll even miss you now when you are here 'Cause if you don't I swear I'll even miss you now when you are here I'll be I'll be Counting down to you I want months to feel like days I'll be I'll be Counting down to you I want months to feel like days If we both met our troubles halfway Wouldn't we cry in the middle I'd rather see you smile I'd rather say goodbye And treat you like I'll see you soon And treat you like I'll see you soon 'Cause if I don't I swear I'll even miss you now when you are here 'Cause if I don't I swear I'll even miss you now when you are here I'll be I'll be Counting down to you I want months to feel like days I'll be I'll be Counting down to you I want months to feel like days Counting down to you Counting down to you
