On My Way

Some days, I wanna know the end of the story, mmm Skip to the good parts up ahead I've been rushin', runnin' toward what God has for me Maybe I should stop and catch my breath Yeah, I know sometimes I forget Chorus On my way up the mountain I wanna look around it Takin' every sunset before it fades As fast as I am goin' I wanna stop and smell the roses Make every memory I can make On my way On my way Verse 2 Some days, I feel like I'm walkin' in circles, mmm Two steps forward, three steps back But all the broken-hearted, startin' over, wrong turns They led me right to where I am And where I am ain't half bad Chorus On my way up the mountain I wanna look around it Takin' every sunset before it fades As fast as I am goin' I wanna stop and smell the roses Make every memory I can make Bridge Yeah, I'm on my way To this dream that I've been chasin' I'm closer than yesterday I'm on my way I don't wanna take for granted This ground on which I'm standin' Chorus On my way up the mountain I wanna look around it Takin' every sunset before it fades As fast as I am goin' I wanna stop and smell the roses Make every memory I can make There's not a moment I would trade On my way On my way Outro Ooh-ooh-ooh Oh, I'm on my way On my way
