Why Does It Rain (Inspired By "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen")

Summertime has come and gone I had you here by my side The autumn wind was blowing strong I grabbed your arm, held you tight Now the air is getting cold at night And you say you have to leave On the weather report there is No Christmas in white But it's you and the snow that I need Why does it rain on Christmas When I'm wishing for some snow Why can't you stay, if you'll miss me Do you really have to go I know when Santa Claus is coming He will give me something But all I need is you and the snow Why does it rain on Christmas I don't know Everyone is having fun But I just can't realize How can this life go on and on Without you here by my side Now the air is getting cold at night And you say you have to leave On the weather report there is No Christmas in white But it's you and the snow that I need Why does it rain on Christmas When I'm wishing for some snow Why can't you stay, if you'll miss me Do you really have to go I just want to feel snowflakes Falling down on my skin Build a snowman on Christmas Let the winter begin We'll be walking together 'Cross the ice on the like If it can't last forever Give me only one day If it can't last forever Give me only one day If it can't last forever Give me only one day Why does it rain on Christmas When I'm wishing for some snow Why can't you stay, if you'll miss me Do you really have to go I know when Santa Claus is coming He will give me something But all I need is you and the snow Why does it rain on Christmas Rain on Christmas Why does it rain I don't know
