Whispering Words

It's Saturday evening I sit by the phone Planning to call you 'Cause I'm all alone I hesitate even though I can't wait To hear your whispering words Is someone there with you Or are you asleep Have you gone out dancing Or nightshift this week I still hesitate even though I can't wait To hear your whispering words If you'd pick up the phone I would tell you The most beautiful words I know If you'd answer now I would say it to you Over and over again Now I have the courage to give it a try I dial your number but it's occupied It's getting late and I still have to wait To hear your whispering words
