Frank and Nancy

My Grandma Died this last December I cried and cried alone in my hotel Her ring still shines on your finger Holding us together by a thread No I’m not saying this will be easy I’m just praying we can be like them I want a love like Frank and Nancy. 67 years of giving everything we’ve got There’s nothing out there we can’t handle It’s a whole lifetime of never giving up Well he writes poems I write songs Her paintbrush danced along the canvas like you danced into my world And even though they moved to Texas I know right now in heaven there’s another California girl No I’m not saying this will be easy I’m just praying we can be like them I want a love like Frank and Nancy 67 years of giving everything we’ve got There’s nothing out there we can’t handle It’s a whole lifetime of never giving up Oh God, help me to love Like Frank and Nancy When we lost my Uncle Tom The raindrops played the saddest song Still I watched them hold on to each other And when my sister tied the knot Twenty years of broken hearts were dancing like they danced when they were younger No I’m not saying life will be easy But maybe that’s the most beautiful thing I want a love like Frank and Nancy 67 years of giving everything we’ve got There’s nothing out there we can’t handle It’s a whole lifetime of never giving up Oh God, help me to love Like Frank and Nancy
