Close Yours Eyes (Feat. Azzie)

Verse1. Everyday I turn on the TV watching all the violence So many dying, another moment of silence We gotta change this, not rearrange this or wish i'll forever remain nameless are we brainless, We fly aimless with no direction, No police protection Here's my suggestion: KILL THE EGOS Then hold the benefits, we can reap those If you have a dream you can easily reach that Be who you want, never stop and look back Champions win, losers just complain Don't be a spectator you gotta play the game But If you play the game you gotta change the game Extraordinary, never remain the same Nobody said life was going to be easy But I'm living proof ya'll please believe me Oh I wish there was a place that i could find to shield you from the pain That you will see In this lifetime For now, just close your eyes X2 Verse2. It's like I'm on one knee and asking lord to save us And give thanks for all the things you gave us And turn around and go and rob our neighbor And don't that sound just so outrageous Man we so misdirected Having sex unprotected So we spend 24 hours a day on blackberries Cuz we feel so disconnected Now check it We buy the latest kicks But cant keep our phone on And rock sean johns sleeping on the futon Mercedes benz but still living in projects We got toilets but we still piss on our steps Man, I can't begin to explain what types of thoughts running through our brains Mercedes getting hard to maintain Then we let go and pump poison into our veins, it's insane I wish there was a place i could fly Where the world didnt need to cry So now we just look to the sky Hoping now we make it We only get one chance, hoping now we take it X2 Oh I wish there was a place that i could find to shield your heart from the pain That you will see In this lifetime For now, just close your eyes X2
