The Waves

I'm frozen timeless dizzy outside of my zone down to the bone a dreamer walking slowly solitary lonely island my home I feel like a castaway I write on sandy beaches poetry tides will erase in time an empty canvas the shore I paint to find reason in my rhymes I feel like a castaway I would like to draw a dream have it carried by the sea to someone who has been waiting for a century Sketching all eternity with my fingers in the sand but the waves wash all my plans away and nothing will ever stay I feel like a castaway I feel like a castaway ship wreaked imagination the waves are breaking my design marooned deep sea emotion the waves are breaking my design in island isolation the waves are breaking my design life's secret designation the waves are breaking my design ship wreaked imagination the waves are breaking my design marooned deep sea emotion the waves are breaking my design
