Wish (feat. Aleyna Moon)

I wish upon Your star That I would feel Your heart Only if I could be home with You ‘Cause I feel some worlds apart I wish that I could fly Into the sunburst sky From valley low to mountain high ‘Cause I feel so lone and dry Culture cold culture cold culture cold now Can’t feel though the heat’s turned high Frost bitten numb to every low and every high oh why I forget I forget I forget now How it feels to really try & I don’t know why I’ve left myself to dry oh why I would like to think that I look up when life is down yea But the optimist inside has learned to drown in these cynical lies I wanna be a better version of me Yet still I choose to sail into the sea I wish that I could know Just where I want to go But you take me through the great unknown I just want to be home Lately I've been hating Where and who I am Wish that love could just forgive me Or help me understand Don't know why it's been so absent Mind the shiny things in life Cause I've been way too into my head now I just hope that I'll be alright alright alright The more I seem to miss it I feel like I don't belong Try to catch it try to kiss it But this distance isn't gone Hope that something Brings me back to me Cause I think my map is lost Is it apathy No way I know I'm hoping for Somewhere to stay And though I'm fearing my mistakes I think I just gotta face it I won't lay to waste But my heart is not the strongest Honestly there's not much I can take Now I needed Just a little space now But I can breathe I thought that having loneliness Would make me long for me But now I'm holding back back Can I set me free I would like to think that I look up when life is down yea But the optimist inside has learned to drown in these cynical lies I wanna be a better version of me Yet still I choose to sail into the sea I wish upon Your star That I could feel Your heart I will give you all my hope and fear ‘Cause I know that You are here
