Confidence

You were like the antidote to all that I've been missing But now I realise I'm not the only one you're kissing We were laying in the car park Of your dad's front yard where he lives like heaven It's a long way down dreaming 'bout a future Like we're two adolescents, you used to keep me guessing Yeah, I'm almost gone, gone, gone But I guess I lack the confidence to know I should start running And sail this boat away from you 'cause I never saw it coming Yeah, you were like the antidote to all that I've been missing But now I realise I'm not the only one you're kissing You know I love you, right She told me in the kitchen light with hands on her stomach 'Cause mine's in the sink Curl up my lips and wishful think And you've got your mother's eyes and you feel guilty for it She taught you the lesson, so why do you keep me guessing Guessing Yeah, I'm almost gone, gone, gone, gone And I guess I lack the confidence to know I should start running And sail this boat away from you 'cause I never saw it coming Yeah, you were like the antidote to all that I've been missing But now I realise I'm not the only one you're kissing Not the only one No, ooh Yeah, you were like the antidote to all that I've been missing And now I realise I'm not the only one you're kissing And now I realise I'm not the only one you're kissing
