Solitude

and then the sun went down and if it don’t rise tomorrow, what a let down you run the whole show with just a little breath now slow your jets down don’t make that sound you know, the one kinda like the first crush in the first touch, in the first blush, but crushed in a different way, i thought you were just playing with those words, so disturbed, see i’d never thought i’d hear you say you were too shy just to say hi then you said it so poetic with the goodbye so gritty making my head so dizzy thinking why’d you let me going like the rhymes (?) in my city no pity at all, but it’s hard to stand tall but it can’t get any better, and you staring at a wall the memory’s too strong so when the sun fades, it might be gone tomorrow but i wait here today did you know, i was still waiting here did you know, after everyone had left did you see, all the lights down like the sunset we’re fading red let it fade away i say let it fade away i say let it fade away i say let it fade away i say i say when the sun fades red and i ain’t present no more you gonna look back and say what’d i do that for you gonna feel like that weight’s been lifted after everything you told me and i admitted that gift that is the question that i wrestle with, looking for an exodus out this loneliness, at least the sun ain’t prejudiced shining more than bright, cuz there ain’t another light that can blind me of these memories you skipped into my life i’m only here until the sun fades red i won’t hang my head, there’s nothing left to be said i’m only here until the sun fades red i won’t hang my head, there’s nothing left to be said did you know, i was still waiting here did you know, after everyone had left did you see, all the lights down like the sunset we’re fading red and here is the scene and here i’m just walking alone cause you wanted me to see what you mean and when we both taste colored hail in the memories keeping me in the dark (?) did you know, i was still waiting here did you know, after everyone had left did you see, all the lights down like the sunset we’re fading red did you know, i was still waiting there did you know, after all the things we said did you feel, it couldn’t go on like the sunset we’re fading red
