Alabaster Jar (Feat. Jonathan Ogden, Cole McSween)

I render unto Caesar what is due Maybe less never more Never taxed when I’m offering a praise to the Lord On the low I don’t plan to stay broke anymore State of mind changed like the currents offshore See your polo in a bundle cuz you think I’m Off course You don’t like the way I swing cuz I make it awkward Yeah yeah There's a chance I might hit the cart door 3 strikes and you’re out But we’re on a par four My God When I make a mistake Will you paint me a saint When the Master of the ceremony hands me a plate Invited to this table All because of His grace Empty handed like the rest of us I’m palming my face Don’t know how I landed but I’m planning to stay They got a whole feast Say less I’m certain I can smell the aroma Don’t pass on the moment This the hope for the broken Why waste it on that And I can’t hide I can’t hide This love for you I have inside It’s filling me up and overflowing In this daylight the daylight I don’t have anything to hide From your sight Imma show You how I feel Lay of all my disguises down Won’t you take me as I am Please don’t hide your face from me I wanna bring you all my heart And just break it open My alabaster jar I want to give you Something from my heart This real love real love I break it open Like an alabaster jar This real love real love I’m so tired of overthinking And all of these opinions They don’t even matter when I’m with You Don’t want to be anyone else I can only be myself And that’s just what you want from me And I can’t hide I can’t hide This love for you I have inside It’s filling me up and overflowing In this daylight the daylight I don’t have anything to hide From your sight Imma show You how I feel Lay of all my disguises down Won’t you take me as I am Please don’t hide your face from me I wanna bring you all my heart And just break it open Break it open yeah Lay of all my disguises down Won’t you take me as I am Please don’t hide your face from me I wanna bring you all my heart And just break it open My alabaster jar And I can’t hide I can’t hide This my alabaster jar In this daylight daylight This my alabaster jar And I can’t hide I can’t hide Yeah yeah this my alabaster jar In this daylight daylight
