Ghost Lullabye

There is a castle in the forest once upon a moonlit time Dusty servants in the doorway take your coat there for a dime There are hallways full of statues and portraits of the past Hear, echoes of a tyrants work the sounds of killings last Every wall and every mirror have a crime or two to tell Once a family of fortune lived as heaven meeting hell Greedy sisters, craving brothers Bastards of an evil Lord That Devil met his savior son that cut his lifetime short Evil's spoken It runs in the family Silence broken A stone falls into Deep into Deep Darkened Seas Damned is every man's intension, cursed is every woman's heart Every bastard was a child right from the start There's a castle in the forest Cats are howling from the roof Hear the rat tap in the basement They're the only living proof Ghosts of mistresses in stockings that once strangled every man that came across her catwalk to the throne she has at hand
