The Broken

We are the broken It's just a part of life There will be pain Filled with suffering and strife We are the broken There's no avoiding these times Life doesn't make sense Where's all the happiness inside I don't know where I've gone I don't know what I've become But I'm so alone How do I get back home I know it's my say of how'll I'll live out today Why must I be in misery Why can't I release all these burdensome strings To the One who has the best for me We are the broken My soul just yearns for peace The waves come crashing This storm will not cease I don't know where I've gone I don't know what I've become But I'm so alone How do I get back home I know it's my say of how'll I'll live out today Why must I be in misery Why can't I release all these burdensome strings To the One who has the best for me Maybe that's how we grow in Thee We are the broken It's just a part of life broken we grow in Thee broken I'll broken broken It's just a part of life
