When I Close My Eyes

When I close my eyes I can see a rainbow The colours all dance Like a beautiful halo No longer walls Between one or the other And Love is just a prayer away When I close my eyes When I close my eyes I see no more abortions No more violence to the voiceless children Big or small every life has a reason The Truth is just a prayer away When I close my eyes Banish all our blindness You are the only way Strength in all our weakness Break these chains See the saints and angels praying as we bleed Through the eyes of faith Lord I do believe Banish all our blindness You are the only way Strength in all our weakness Break these chains See the saints and angels crying as we bleed Through the eyes of faith Lord I do believe That when I close my eyes I can see you smiling You're free as a bird And you're laughing and dancing No longer chained By the burdens that held you I know you're just a prayer away When I close my eyes
