Life As A Teenage Boy

First day of high school looking grim Thinking of how I'll survive this New school means new friends oh how I'm scared beyond belief First day in class in freshmen year 20 students sitting in their chairs 10 minutes in I came to realize that I'm in the wrong class Studying hard to get the grades Joining new clubs or the football team While getting pushed around from all the seniors constantly Attending student made events Intermural sports or the high school dance try to get involved that's what my guidance councilor says What a great place to be This is the life as a teenage boy Living this every moment Cause it's a once in a life time experience Life as a teenage boy Never gonna waste a moment now So don't blink And enjoy everything Hangouts on a Friday night House parties starting way past 9 Weekends are the days where I can finally be myself Ask a girl on my very first date Make sure I'd pay for everything And maybe if I'm lucky I can end it with a first kiss No better time than this This is the life as a teenage boy Living this every moment Cause it's a once in a life time experience Life as a teenage boy Never gonna waste a moment now So don't blink So get crazy get wild and just do what you wanna do Act stupid act childish you're the right age for it to Cause in the near future you won't ever get to To be this young again This is the life as a teenage boy Living this every moment Cause it's a once in a life time experience Life as a teenage boy Never gonna waste a moment now So don't blink And enjoy everything Enjoy everything
