In the nighttime

it feels like yesterday when I was 5 minutes from home I outgrown yeah I moved so far away I had to do it for my soul hope they know now Im not sure where to call it home Ive been living on my own so long moving on in this life there’s not enough time to be living in the comfort light I got that right but when the nightfall comes and im lonely I know back home my friends are proud of my story nostalgia hits my throat when my mother calls me its like im missing something guess im homesick oh And every single day im learning to be strong leaning on to make my dreams reality its falling into place but it still gets tough oh sometimes I think of giving up but i know we all been thru this tho iits too soon oh I know it’ll work out okay there’s no reason to be down and sad feeling bad but when the nightfall comes and im lonely I know back home my friends are proud of my story nostalgia hits my throat when my mother calls me its like im missing something guess im homesick oh
