Glorious

We were just two kids with a curious apetite We were two young hearts beating hard as we touched the fire for the first time It was summer, we were blazed Do you remember? In the rain We got soaking wet and we laughed so hard we fell over And it was glorious And it was glorious It was nothing like I imagined Getting love drunk in the park It was nothing like the movies To feel your body in the dark It was glorious And it was glorious Now were just two fools we don't even go out to play I forgot how to love without being so fearful of the heartache But every summer, sunny days I still remenber when it rained And I held my breath as you layed your head on my shoulder And it was glorious And it was glorious It was nothing like I imagined Getting love drunk in the park It was nothing like the movies To feel your body in the dark It was glorious And it was glorious Let's find a way so we can be free again Cause I wanna feel the fire that started this Cause it was glorious And it was glorious It was nothing like I imagined Getting love drunk in the park It was nothing like the movies To feel your body in the dark It was glorious And it was glorious It was glorious
