New Friends

Yea Roll up New City Starting over never felt so right Skyline So pretty Everything is changing overnight The whole horizons out in front of me The future’s looking bright Gonna have to leave some things behind Tonight I wanna make new friends As fast as I can Here’s to new beginnings Tie a knot in my loose ends Cash it all in Starting new tradiitons The best thing about new friends Is they don’t know the stupid things I did Way back when Tonight I wanna make new friends I really wanna make new friends They don’t remember ever stupid joke They don’t remember every heart I broke They don’t remember when I drank too much And I threw it up what a fool I was It’s a clean state It’s a blank page And each day is a new day Yeah, it’s fresh start all over again Tonight I wanna make new friends As fast as I can Here’s to new beginnings Tie a knot in my loose ends Cash it all in Starting new traditions Best thing about new friends Is they don’t know the stupid things I did Way back when That’s the thing about moving on That’s the thing about letting go That’s the thing about seeing something you ain’t seen before That’s the thing about goodbyes That’s the thing about leaving home Look the horizon in the eyes and say hello Hello Hey how ya doing Tonight I wanna make new friends As fast as I can Here’s to new beginnings Tie a knot in my loose ends Cash it all in Starting new traditions Best thing about new friends Is they don’t know the stupid things I did Way back when Tonight I wanna make new friends I really wanna make new friends I think we’re gonna be real good friends New Friends
