My Little Dream

I used to look at the stars How they’d shine so bright Make a wish every time But I know that the sun will come up And this moment will fade I’ll forget it and wish it away Maybe one day I will finally see All of the things that I wished I would be Imagine a warm summer day You would smile at me Like it was yesterday It’s hard to hold on and believe ‘Cause what if it’s not meant to be I’ll try to pretend That it’s not the end Of dreaming my little dream Time after time as the seasons go by I wonder if I’ll finally choose to give up But imagine a warm summer day You would smile at me Like it was yesterday It’s hard to hold on and believe ‘Cause what if it’s not meant to be I’ll try to pretend That it’s not the end Of dreaming my little dream Just wait and see It’s hard to hold on and believe ‘Cause what if it’s not meant to be I’ll try to pretend That it’s not the end You just wait and see I know it’s real I’ll keep on dreaming my little dream
