Please Don't Get Any Older

I had to help you with the Christmas lights this year I've never had to do that Getting on the roof was kind of weird Looked down at you and knew that You're gonna need me more and more I hope you know that's what I'm here But it breaks my heart That I have to worry about yours Let the whole world change Long as you stay the same oh oh oh Please don't get any older Please don't get any older I'm not ready to Take care of you oh oh oh Please don't get any older Please don't get any older When did you have to start dying your hair I pretend that I don't notice As I'm helping you out of your chair Like watching you in slow motion You're gonna need me more and more You're not as strong as you were before And it breaks my heart That I have to worry about yours Let the whole world change Long as you stay the same oh oh oh Please don't get any older Please don't get any older I'm not ready to Take care of you oh oh oh Please don't get any older Please don't get any older Till we realize how to slow down time Please don't get any older Wait till I'm a little older
