Stop Waiting for Summer

I bet if I slowed down took a look at my life did a couple things wrong and a couple things right but lately can barely keep up with my head Instead I wake up with a lump in my chest just thinkin bout the things that I couldve been But maybe I’m thinkin too much again I’ve been waiting so long for something to change me but the longer I look the less I see So I’m through hiding under covers no such thing as destiny Yah it’s true I can still hear my mother saying there’s a world to discover stop waiting for summer Think I need more now voice in my head gettin’ so loud Just wanna make the whole world proud getting carried away again But when the day’s done I wanna believe that I gave all that I could give and I pray I Can get up and do it again I’ve been waiting so long To wake from this daydream But when I open my eyes I'm still asleep So I’m through hiding under covers no such thing as destiny Yah it’s true I can still hear my mother saying there’s a world to discover stop waiting for summer
