The Violin

I was in San Francisco I was supposed to go on a tour with this gypsy guy And one day he told me that he knows somebody who Owns a violin that's a hundred years old and it's from France So I went into his shop to check it out and when I saw it first it was really ugly It didn't have any strings on it or chin rest Nothing So I fixed it a little bit And when I heard that sound I thought Wow I'm never gonna hear anything sounding like this It wasn't an ordinary violin It was really rough and I thought it had an angry sound And it had a gypsy feeling into it So I decided to get this violin and since then I never left him he never left me I know that I'm just gonna be one of the many players in his life But I just hope that he enjoys his time with me Because I really do enjoy my time with him
