Sleep In The Park

It's 8pm I walk home from a hit that I never really felt within Go home go to sleep Be a dreamer Don't be a thief And I act surprised I met a blind man Who probably could have seen her eyes And I don't know where he came from Or where she goes Nobody knows Now I sleep in the park Out there in the cold You won't need my jacket In another mans home And I'll get used to the feel What it is to live She won't need my jacket Cause she's staying in with him Turn the night into day Let the sun hit the freeze And I wish it'd all melt away City life of a drinker And battle scars for a thinker Now I sleep in the park Out there in the cold You won't need my jacket In another mans home And I'll get used to the feel What it is to live She won't need my jacket Cause she's staying in with him There were times when it was broken There were times when it was saved There were times when we were holy When we were different When we behaved Now I sleep in the park Out there in the cold You won't need my jacket In another mans home And I'll get used to the feel What it is to live She won't need my jacket Cause she's staying in with him
