Coral Bracelet

I read about a runaway Just saw on a pint of milk today And then I poured myself a glass And drank It made me think of Florida And miles and miles of oranges Vacationers and rent a cars With their skin burnt dark and hard Like coral bracelets It all recalls bits of you Everything's orange in hue Like this bracelet you strapped into place Before you went away Coral bracelet in place of you Coral to compliment blue Skies above I don't see them anymore Only coral evermore I thought about a stowaway Onboard a boat to faraway And then I ran myself a bath And got in It made me think of daffodils And some old fashioned hospital With nurses in their uniforms All their toenails painted orange Like coral bracelets It all recalls bits of you Everything's orange in hue Like this bracelet you strapped into place Before you went away Coral bracelet in place of you Coral to compliment blue Skies above I don't see them anymore Only coral evermore I heard about a holiday Away o' up in Galloway Where little lambs run wild And princes Wear coral bracelets It all recalls bits of you Everything's orange in hue Like this bracelet you strapped into place Before you went away Coral bracelet in place of you Coral to compliment blue Skies above I don't need them anymore I don't choose what to wish for Only coral evermore
