Highway (take)

I’ve never been to outside all my life Felt my time is running out my shadow’s disappeared So I stole my mama's key and drove her shitty car And I sing Would you sit beside me dear my friend Gonna race through fire so stay with me all the way No one cares where we go just like we’ve never been here But I sing We gon’ drive red car on the highway Shut your eyes and feel the blazing trail Set your hands free our last driveway You know we ain’t never coming back We've already come this far my friend There's no stopping for us anymore now You know she's been waiting for us It’s time to say goodbye It’s time to say goodbye You know what I've been through all my life We all know it’s time to mark an end to good old days But no matter how fast I run it ain’t gonna get off me Still I sing Someone please tell me now Should I go Drive your own red car on the highway Shut your eyes and feel the blazing trail Set your hands free It's our last driveway Drive your own red car on the highway Sometimes she reminds me of somewhere But don't let up on this cruel highway Time to say goodbye Time to say goodbye
