Distant Lover

We started out as friends But all along you were a distant lover See I haven't felt this in so long Again I don't know what to say It's like you took my whole world down under And changed everything See I just wanna kiss and dance and hold your hand And make you understand That all I wanna do is spend my time with you Cause we both know we're more than friends I hope it never ends See all I'm tryna say is I need you everyday And more than just a thing tonight More than just a thing tonight Love feels like it's so damn hard to find Trying my best to not be so hopeless But sometimes I feel like I'm running out of time Until you came around It took a while to clean up this whole mess I was lost but now I'm found Now I just wanna kiss and dance and hold your hand And make you understand That all I wanna do is spend my time with you Cause we both know we're more than friends I hope it never ends See all I'm tryna say is I need you everyday And more than just a thing tonight More than just a thing tonight
